WE WILL NEVER FORGET: Seattle PD Loses One of Their Own, A Hero in His Own Right

Seattle, Washington | We are saddened by the news of SPD Detective Darin Chinn, who passed earlier this morning from his fight with cancer.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET is a Tribute to those who have passed away and will always be remembered as Our Heroes. Their Legacy lives on inside us, continously touching and impact those around us.

Darin Chinn was no ordinary man his friends say, but a compassionate and caring person as a whole and a great Seattle Police Detective.  His long career began in May 1989, after his 4-year service with the United States Marine Corp.  He married his love of his life, Janine in 1991.

We offer sincere sympathies to his wife, Janine and to his family, to the SPD Family, their many friends and to the Seattle Community, he worked so hard to protect and serve in.

We know that God’s Arms opened wide to greet Darin Chinn at the Pearly Gates and it is our firm belief, he is still looking [down] out still for those in the great City of Seattle and surrounding areas.

In Honor of your Memory, we Thank You for your Service, Commitment and Dedication to the people of Seattle and for your Friendship.  We were blessed to have known you as a friend and honored to call you “Hero”.

RIP Friend, Your Brothers and Sisters got it from here.
