SUMMARY
A brush fire was reported around 0516 PDT on Thursday morning with first arriving equipment on scene at 0609 PDT. The fire is located 1/2 mile off of Camino Cielo, west of Montecito Peak, approximately 3 – 5 miles from populated areas in Santa Barbara County of the Las Padres National Forest.
The fire is said to be wind-driven event.

The incident is in Unified Command with the following:

- Santa Barbara County Sheriff

The fire has reached a 50% containment status. It is burning in heavy Chaparral.
