#JackFire
Incident Summary
The #JackFire is located about 14 miles north of Clints Well on the east side of Lake Mary Road near Happy Jack, along Forest Roads 294 and 294C.
The fire was ignited by lightning that passed over the area starting multiple fires nearby in various areas on May 29, 2016, around 1315 Hours. It has currently consumed 25,600 acreage. Fire crews have reached a 10% containment status.
Fire Status
Fire activities on Saturday will include improving control lines and monitoring fire behavior. More resources will be made available as an overnight thunderstorm passed through the area again and will be utilized for any new fire starts within the District.

There are 150 firefighters assigned along with 3-Type 1 Crews, 9-engines, 1-Dozer, and various specialists.
Weather Forecast
Weather today is expected to provide wind from the SW and be gusty, as well as, another possible thunderstorm with rain to hit the area.

#JuniperFire
Incident Summary
The #JuniperFire is located 10 miles south of Young, Arizona. This fire was ignited by lightning on May 20, 2016, around midnight and is being allowed to burn naturally allowing Fire Managers to treat this wildfire similar to a Prescribed Fire in burning off some heavy fuels in the area.
Resources
There has currently been 30,567 acres that have been consumed and has reached a 30% containment status. Additional burnout operations will be conducted. There are 444 Fire personnel along with support and overhead team, including IC Jeff Andrews SWAIMT4 and his team assigned to this wildfire.
Traffic Alerts
Some roads will reopen but drivers are cautioned to watch for fire equipment and some smokey conditions.

#TenderfootFire
Incident Summary
This fire started on June 8, 2016, around 1515 hours and has been deemed to be human-caused and is still under investigation. It is located in Yarnell, AZ and is near the 2013 Yarnell Hill fire location. This fire touches us personally knowing that this is the same area where 19 Firefighters were killed.

Fire Conditions, Status
Oak grassland, brush and rugged terrain are just some of the obstacles fire crews are facing along with high temps and cloud cover, as well as, higher humidity Fire Managers are happy with progress of air resources dropping water and retardant on the fire in hopes of slowing it forward progress.

Attached to this fire incident are 9 Hot Shot crews, 22 Engines, 2 light and 3 heavy helicopters, 2 air attack fixed wing aircraft platforms, 2 bulldozers along with various overhead and support personnel.
Roads Reopening
Some roadways are being reopened but the Sheriff’s Office deems other locations still a danger to residents.

#BalkeFire
Incident Summary
The fire started on June 7, 2016, around 1430 areas from lightning. It is located 1 mile N of Hannagan Meadows aka Hannagan Meadow Lodge (Balke Cabin) and ForestService Rd 576 on the Alpine Ranger District.
Fire Status
The fire has a low to moderate ROS. It has consumed 175 acres and fire crews have gained a 25% containment status around the fire.
Resources
Resources on this incident are the following: Engines, 1 Hotshot Crew, 1 Dozer, 1 Feller Buncher and 1 Skidder, plus overhead and support personnel.
