Incident Summary

A wildfire broke out on Sunday, March 26, 2017, around 2000 (8pm) Hours, which has been deemed as human caused.

Size Up, Location

The fire is said to be located approximately 0.5 miles West of Port St. John in the Wildlife Refuge in Florida.

The fire has scorched about 625 acres.

Containment Status

Firefighters have reached a 95% containment status.  The fire is currently smoldering and still torching as it burns itself out.
