A wildfire broke out on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 as a newly reported wildfire to the National Interagency Coordination Center, that is burning about 41 miles NE of Lakeview, Oregon.

The fire has burned 500 acres of brush and grass.  There is a current containment of 0%.

There are 52 personnel assigned along with 9 engines and 2 helicopters.

Current Conditions

Fire behavior is active with wind-driven runs.

Threats

Structures and Sage-grouse habitat are being threatened current.

Cost-To-Date

Fire suppression and containment costs have reached $500,000 to date.
