The Donnie Creek Fire is still ongoing and one of the biggest wildfires in the Canadian Province of British Columbia has ever seen.

The firestorm has gobbled up a whooping 1.32 million acres and listed approximately 4x the size of their Metro Vancouver, BC.
It is burning near the Alaska Highway (Hwy 97).
The cause has been determined to be most like that of lightning that may have passed over the area and sparked this out-of-control wildfire, which was detected on Friday, May 12, 2023, around 1658 hours PDT.
It is listed as its own wildfire (G80280) but also as a Complex with two additional fires which include Klua Lakes (G90273) and Muskwa River (G90292).
There are currently 253 BC Wildfire Service personnel including 171 firefighters and BCWS IMT who are managing this incident.
Equipment and resources include 15 copters, 40 pieces of heavy equipment and a Structure Protection group with 50 operational personnel actively working to protect structures, high valued assets and infrastructure.
