OKANOGAN COUNTY, WASHINGTON STATE — A wildfire named the BEEHIVE FIRE is said to be burning on Beehive Mountain in Okanogan County broke out on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Fire resources and equipment were dispatched through the WANEC’s wildcad.net system at 1448 hours PDT which include the following resources: DZ 7250, SO 60, SO 28, W Zone 10, C 93, HI 7106, SO 26, HI 7111, HI 7109, and SO 7205.
Resources arrived on the scene at 1530 hours PDT.
As of June 16th, according to going to the County Sheriff’s Office, Fire season and Burn Bans are upon us! Be informed and stay up to date when a disaster strikes. If you are not part of the Emergency Management Notification System, please register using the link below.
The Alert system notifies you when there is a major event such as a fire in your area. Please don’t depend on deputies to make initial notifications because when a disaster strikes, they are extremely busy. Level 2 & 3 notifications will be made as long as conditions allow, but the Alert System will keep you up to date where ever you are if you have mobile alerts selected. About three acres have been burned.
It is unknown what the current containment status is and what the cause was at the time of this update.
