NEW WILDFIRE | Thursday, June 29, 2023, 1900 hours PDT

LA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — A wildfire named the Franklin Fire broke out just after 1753 hours PDT and is burning I-5 North and Quail Lake Road in Gorman.

The fire is said to be approximately three-to-four acres in size with a potential for 500.

Fire behavior is extreme with running and burning heavy fuels (brush).
