A wildfire named the RANSOM FIRE is located off of Ransom Road in Weaverville, California it was sparked by a RV fire that has spread into an urban interface that occurred on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

The fire is measured at about one-half of an acre and is said to have a moderate rate of spread.

Tankers 93 and 96 have been assigned, as two SEATs are working the GOLDEN FIRE.

From where the fire is located, it is definitely in a rural area peppered with several houses and currently under threat.
