What is Daylight Savings Time
For those in the United States, don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour to enact Daylight Savings Time at 0200 hours on Sunday morning.
Daylight Savings Time occurs twice annually usually in the months of November (Fall back) and in March (Spring forward) to gain the most of our natural light.

What States Are Impacted
For those in the States, it is observed in all fifty states except for Hawaii, Arizona, and the U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
There are approximately 19 states that have passed laws and/or resolutions in support of year-round Daylight Savings time.
Fall Reminders
While some of you are moving that big hand on the clock or changing the time (cell phones change automatically), it is a great reminder to all to take the golden opportunity to change batteries in your smoke and CO2 detectors, as well as fire alarms.
