CALIFORNIA — Warnings were sent out by various Emergency Services and Fire Agencies in the last few weeks of impending King Tides and Weather reports of significant rainfall and potential flooding.

Significant rainfall has been predicted by weather forecasters beginning on Saturday, December 16 through the 27, 2023.

King Tides were expected to add to the flooding beginning December 23 and peaking on the 24th and 25th with an end date of December 27th. However, another King Tide is due to hit the area again on January 9th through the 13th in 2024.

Impacted areas are expected to be in the Mill Valley, Southern Marin, and Sausalito areas.

Emergency Management and Public Safety Officials wish to remind drivers to TURNAROUND, DON’T DROWN.
