Published Saturday, June 8, 2024, 2200 hours PDT

A wildfire named the TOP FIRE was discovered on June 8, 2024, from an unknown source which is currently being investigated by local Fire Investigators.

The fire is located four miles northeast of Cutter off Hwy 170 in Arizona (USA). This is about 13 miles east of Globe on the San Carlos Apache Reservation.

About 40 acres have been burned.

Initial resources included: 1 LAT, 6 SEATs, and 1 FWAA. Additional aid has been deployed which includes SCAT A-7, C2 Globe, and SCAT 0-3. The additional resources were dispatched today at 1232 hours PDT.

This is under Incident #AZSCA-778.

The Communications Center is the AZ Phoenix Comm Center.
