INCIDENT SUMMARY
A wildfire named the GARNET FIRE south of Rodggers Rdige in the Garnet Dike and north of the Kings River trailhead in the Sierra National Forest in Fresno County, California.
It is said to be burning in the 2015 ROUGH FIRE and 2024 BASIN FIRE burn scars.
Fire Officials believe this incident may have been potentially the result of a lightning fire, which appears to have ignited earlier this morning, August 24, 2025 (0010) PDT).

Resources via Sierra Interagency Communications Center or CASICC for short: PT41, WT 23, AA15, SNF E3-42, SNF E3-43, and DV4 at 0010 PDT.
Resources via the Central California Command Center at 1723 were entered, but it appears no resources are listed, as just four (4) minutes before this deployment, several engines and BCs were dispatched to a possible aircraft accident.
CURRENT STATUS
