Aurora, Colorado Fire’s Engineer Jason Murphy passed away due to being involved in an auto-ped accident at approximately 1430.  He was riding his bike into work, when a vehicle struck him causing serious injury to his right leg.  He was transported to TMCA where he was scheduled for surgery.  He died prior to surgery.  Family was by his side.
