On April 26, 2012, at 0625 hours, a fire erupted in the basement of a home being remodeled in the 3900 block of 24th Avenue South in Seattle.
Units dispatched were Aid 14, Air 9, Battalions 5 & 7, Deputy 1, Engines 13, 30, 36 and 6; Ladders 3 & l, Medic 28, Safety 2 and Staff 10. Marshal 5 at 0643 Hours and the PIO at 0650 Hours. Ladder 3 was dispatched at 0942 Hours.
Firefighters had to make forcible entry with their saws cutting through the metal security door. Approximately $15,000.00 damage was caused by the fire.
No cause was known at the time of this publication.
