On Saturday May 19,2012, the Seattle Fire Department along with the City of Seattle Finance and Administrative Service and Seattle Firefighters Union, Local 27 are teaming up to host an OPEN HOUSE for the newly remodeled Fire Station 13.

 

Located at 3601 Beacon Avenue South, the renovation project includes a decontamination facility, increased equipment storage, a fire alarm and sprinkler system and a new kitchen.

The renovation of Fire Station 13 was completed as part of the Fire Facilities & Emergency Response Levy Program.

Engine Company 13 and Battalion 5’s Chief have moved back into the station.

The public is invited to visit and tour the new station as part of the open house. Bring the entire family to meet the firefighters. There will be activities for the children including face painting.
