~Florida Emergency Information Line Deactivated~
The State Emergency Operations Center is now operating at a Level Two, partial activation, as the State Emergency Response Team (SERT) moves into the recovery phase in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Debby.
The Florida Emergency Information Line (FEIL) will no longer be active as of 8 p.m. tonight. Residents seeking further information regarding impacts from Tropical Storm Debby should contact their county emergency management agency. The SERT will continue to support requests for assistance from impacted counties.
Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) teams composed of SERT and FEMA representatives began surveying areas impacted by Tropical Storm Debby today, Friday, June 29. PDA team members may ask about your damages and insurance but DO NOT REQUIRE any personally identifiable information, such as a social security number. PDA teams must be requested by the county emergency management agency. All state PDA team members wear a State Emergency Response Team shirt and carry state identification.
