July 31—Seattle Fire Paramedics transported a male in his 40’s to Harborview Medical Center with critical burns after a construction site accident.
Seattle firefighters were called to the construction site located at Broadway East and East Thomas Street at 2:42 p.m. A construction worker using a torch ignited a flammable bottle of liquid causing 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his face, hands, legs and torso.
The patient was alert, oriented and conscious and was transported with critical injuries.
