The Washington State Patrol is investigating a fatality collision that took place on October 5, 2012. The collision occurred on SR 12 near Nine Mile between Wallula Junction and Touchet, about 16 miles west of Walla Walla, as a westbound vehicle attempted to pass another vehicle traveling the same direction. The collision claimed the lives of two occupants and injured several others.

Investigators are seeking additional witnesses to the collision and any event leading up to it. If you saw or heard anything or know someone that did, please call Trooper Shawn Williams or Sergeant Mike Eggleston at 509-527-4472.
