Job Requirements
  • Age 19
  • Education Firefighter/EMT (Basic or Paramedic)
  • Additional Requirement :
    Must be fully certified with TX Fire Commission as Basic FF & fully certified with TX Dept of Health as EMT OR be fully certified or licensed with TX Dept of Health as Paramedic. Out of State applicants must determine their TX Certifiability with TX Commission on Fire Protection & TX Dept of Health. Must possess current valid driver’s license. Must be at least 19 years of age & meet all eligibility requirements of Section 143.023 of TX Fire & Police Civil Service Law. Applicants over 35 years of age are ineligible to take exam. Must meet all physical requirements & must be U.S. Citizen. MUST INCLUDE COPIES OF ALL FF CERTIFICATES & DRIVER’S LICENSE WHEN TURNING IN APPLICATION: THIS IS A REQUIREMENT.
Salary Information
Salary: $41,872 entry level FF annual
