Dr. John F. Haynes, passed away this morning on Monday, December 17th, 2012.

The founding Medical Director for EMS Online Training Plus Dr. Haynes served as our Medical Director and Mentor since 2005.

Dr. Haynes, a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and Retired LTC in the United States Army, and one of the very first EMT’s with El Paso Ambulance. He also worked with Pro-Action (Now Immunize El Paso) as Medical Director.

He has also served as the Medical Director of the West Texas Regional Poison Center since it began operations in 1994. He spent years doing medical mission work throughout the world and leaves with the legacy of over 20 years of clinical, teaching, and research experience in both Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology.

He touched every life he came in contact with and left the world a better place for having been a part of it.
