MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT
Police need assistance in locating a missing/endangered adult.
On January 17, 2013, at about 11:45 P.M. 2330 hours, 41-year-old Ms. Andretta Yvonne Nickson left her home (the Open Arms Assisted Living Facility) located at 1229 27th Street in Newport News. Staff indicated Ms. Nickson stated she was going out for a walk. When Ms. Nickson did not return Police were called.

Residents of the home have the freedom to go and come as they please. Ms. Nickson has not had her scheduled medications which she takes every 12 hours. Ms. Nickson is reported to be bipolar and diabetic and takes multiple medications.

B/F, Black Hair, Brown Eyes
5’6”, 250-300 lbs. – 41 years old
When last seen Ms. Nickson was wearing a blue shirt, black or blue pants, and a blue knee-length coat. Anyone that has seen Ms. Nickson or knows her whereabouts is asked to call Newport News Police (VA) at (757) 247-2500.
