Incident: Lime Gulch Fire Wildfire
Released: 20 min. ago

As of 9:00 p.m. Saturday, all evacuation orders for the Lime Gulch Fire have been lifted. Local residents have been allowed to return home. Power to all affected residents is expected to be restored by 8:00 a.m. Sunday. Road closures will remain at three locations to assist firefighters that are still actively working on the fire line. Only local residents who can show proper identification will be allowed through the following road closures:

  • Foxton Road will be open to residents only at Reynolds Park.
  • The SW Platte River Road will be open to residents only north of Buffalo Creek.
  • The W Platte River Road west of Two Forks will be open to residents only

Residents are cautioned to be aware of the emergency vehicles and equipment still in the area, and are asked to stay out of the burn areas as firefighters will be continuing mop-up operations. As always, citizens are reminded to be ready to evacuate, should conditions change.

Reynolds Park will remain closed to the public until further notice. Waterton Canyon will remain closed.

All of the Colorado Trail will be reopened to the public.
