Napa, CA – The City is now moving into a Recovery Phase from the devastating Quake that occurred on Sunday, August 24, 2014.
Here is a summary of this morning’s Update:
- 208 patients were have been or are being treated at the Queen of the Valley Hospital.
- 17 patients were admitted.
- Most injuries are listed as orthopedic.
- 0 fatalities related.
- 90 water line breaks still need to be fixed.
- City urging residents to continue to use water precautions using one of the following: 1) boil water for 1 minute, 2) drink bottled water or 3) use City sponsored water station setup on Pearl Street, one block West from Main or at the Las Flores Center on Linda Vista Avenue.
- 94 customers still without electricity. This is down from the 10,000 reported last night around 2000 hours.
- Water Division Help Line: 707-257-9544. It is staffed 24 hours each day.
- Power and Gas Help Line: 707-258-7829. Report any Gas Leaks, outages, concerns whether Business or Residential.
- Community Services building remains closed for Inspection.
- 29 residents were reported in the Red Cross Shelter last night.
- City garages have been inspected and are all open.
- City facilities have been inspected and are all open.
- The Senior Center is red-tagged for inspection.
- A free drop in for kids is located at 4300 Linda Vista. Open from 0900 to 1500 hours.
