INCIDENT SUMMARY

Firefighters from Ventura County Fire Department and surrounding areas were dispatched to a possible oil fire in the Piru Community around 1707 hours this Friday evening.

Located 1 1/2 miles from the Hopper Mountain boundary.

FIRST DUE

Access to the oil field was being attempted at 1730 Hours PDT.  First arriving fire resources on scene at 1747 reported the oil equipment was on fire and some of the oil product had spilled into a drainage.  Fish and Game were requested to respond to the scene at 1747 Hours PDT.
