Spokane County, Washington

The Spokane County IMT page announced on May 14, merged their personnel w NE Washington IMT. The move eliminated redundancy and duplication of effort and effectively doubled thir Type 3 IMT capability.

The Spokane County IMT will become a Type 4 Incident Support Team made up of Chief Officers from Spokane County that will assist the local authority having jurisdiction on greater alarm incidents that do not rise to the Type 3 level of incident complexity.

“The merger of the two teams is just another example of all levels of government working together to reduce costs and increase service.” says the County.
