The MAGPIE HILL FIRE is burning south of the town of Daniel in Wasatch County, Utah, which was caused by lightning after it passed over the area.

It ignited on Wednesday.

The fire is estimated at 20 acres of oak and sagebrush and has a 50% containment status.

No current evacuation orders are in effect at this time.

A dozer line has been constructed around the fire and resources are mopping up remaining interior hot spots.
