The MOHR CANYON FIRE is burning about eight miles southeast of Waterville (Douglas County), Washington State which is under the management of a Type 3 ICT.
It started on August 8, 2022, from an unknown cause on private land.
Today, the fire has burned 6,944 acres of tall grass and brush and has an 86% containment status.
Minimal fire behavior has been reported.
As of this morning’s fire update, there is still 64 total personnel with two crews, five engines, and one helicopter assigned to this incident.
State Mobe was approved by the Fire Marshal’s office on August 10, 2022.
