WINDIGO FIRE | 32 miles SW of La Pine, OR
The transfer of fire command for all three wildfires will be transitioned over to the NW Team 9, a Type 2 IMT from the NW Team 10 IMT will occur on Monday, August 29, 2022.

The fire behavior for this wildfire is minimal with creeping, single tree torching, and smoldering have been observed. Area/Road/Trail closures are in effect.

The amount of land which has been destroyed is 1,007 acres and fire crews have reached a 99% containment status.

The total number of fire personnel remains at 172 along with two crews and a single helicopter.

CTD: $16.5 Million.

POTTER FIRE | 46 miles SW of La Pine, OR
Fire behavior for this wildfire is also minimal with creeping, single tree torching, and spotting has been observed and reported by Fire Officials.

Area/road/trail closures are in effect.

About 629 acres have been consumed but firefighters have reached a 96% containment status.

Approximately, 290 total personnel with 7 crews, 8 engines, and 4 copters are assigned to this incident.

CTD: $11.7 Million

BIG SWAMP FIRE | 37 miles SW of La Pine, OR
Minimal fire behavior with creeping and isolated torching has been reported.

Area/road/trail closures are in effect.

110 total acres of closed timber litter, timber, and medium slash have been consumed. A 97% containment status has been reached.

There are a total of 39 fire personnel and 2 engines still attached to this incident.

CTD: $2 Million.
