LYNNWOOD (Snohomish County), WA — On Sunday night, June 18, 2023, around 2053 hours, an assault with weapons (shooting) call went out over the air broadcast on radio scanners at the Alderwood Mall (Macy’s) in the 18700 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway.

Fire units 1B3, 1C3, 2C32, 6L42, 62E3, 62L1, 62L2, 6L3, L2T1, 63B1, 6E31, A15, E15, M15, M18 and TRAN18.

As of 2215 hours PDT, Lynnwood Police confirmed there was a robbery just after 2050 hours PT with shots fired at the Alderwood Mall in the parking lot outside of Macy’s. They responded and learned the gunfire was between the four suspects. No one was reported injured or killed.

Police also stated the four suspects fled in two separate cars, turning into a short pursuit. During the pursuit, which can only occur in Washington if it is known that the suspects may put the Public’s Safety at risk to pursue those. According to Police, one of the vehicles was involved in a collision in Mountlake Terrace and they were taken into custody.

The second vehicle was reportedly abandoned but a K9 dog was deployed and able to track the suspects. They were also arrested and in custody.

Detectives and Police Officers are still on the scene at Alderwood Mall and ask the public to AVOID THE AREA. There is no immediate danger to the public.
