A wildfire named the Stockton Hill Fire is located about 10 miles north of Kingman, Arizona, and was ignited by an unknown source caused by human intervention. It is currently under investigation.

As of this evening, the fire has scorched 539 acres and crews have reached a successful 80% containment status. Thankfully and so much appreciated, Fire Officials are reporting no structures are showing damaged or destroyed at this time. Things could have been much worse for all parties involved.
There are approximately 33 total personnel still assigned as they work throughout the night and gain a higher containment status.
Incident cooperators include those from the Northern Arizona Fire District, AZ State Forestry and Fire Management, Inciweb, NWS, Bullhead City FD, Alpine FD, AzEIN, Round Valley Fire & Medical Department, Sun Cities Firefighters and the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
