Sit Rep 3 | July 22, 2023, 0235 PT
The FLAT FIRE started on July 15, 2023, is still burning about two miles southeast of Agness, Oregon.
There are about 936 total personnel along with 11 engines, 32 crews, four bulldozers, four water tenders, eight masticators, and eight helicopters.
The cause is still unknown and under investigation.
The current fire status is as follows:
- Southeast area: Fire behavior is moderate with low-intensity heat. Burnout operations completed.
- Western area: Night ops to continue with burnout operations and monitor control lines.
