SIT REP 2: Sunday, July 23, 2023, 1330 PT

The BEDROCK FIRE is located near the Bedrock Campground, about 27 miles southeast of Eugene, Oregon. Fire behavior has been observed as active are currently threatening structures.

Incident #ORWIF-230266.

Due to the increased wildfires and the taxing on local resources, the Pacific NW Region will be moving to a Preparedness Level 3. A type 2 IMT is on order.

The fire has burned approximately 350 acres of timber and grass. There is a 0% containment status.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and under investigation.
