WETHERILL PARK, NEW SOUTH WALES (AUSTRALIA)
Fire and Rescue NSW Firefighters were dispatched to a Pallet Factory, where an unheard-of 14th Alarm was struck as fire ripped through the building in Wetherill Park in Sydney.
In other parts of this area in this country, there are currently 27 brush and grass fires burning across NSW which are active and Officials are conducting full suppression efforts.
Fire bans are in effect for Shoalhaven/Illawarra and the Greater Sydney area as strong winds are expected to pick up in the upcoming hours.
Local Sydney TV is reporting on strong winds and the warmest weather has hit the area this August and is the most extreme in 12 years. They state this is considered to be their winter season. News of this rare fire has hit their southwest area hart with flames ripping through Hornigsea Park and destroying an old fairground and homes that Fire Officials say was too late to evacuate the area.
