Quake Shakes California Area

CALIFORNIA — A M3.6 earthquake shook the area about 48 miles south of Santa Ana and 28 miles northeast of San Clemente Island (southeastern tip) was reported on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 1732 hours PDT.
Around 1611 hours, there was a M3.1 quake then a larger one less than one hour later.
Before the initial M3.6, California had 68 earthquakes measuring M0.5-M2.4.
After the larger of the two quakes, six more with the intensity of M0.5 – M2.4 has hit many areas.
