Additional Information:
•             Fire Crews were just clearing the scene of a stove fire on Mountain Ave when they were dispatched to a report of a vehicle fire at a gas station.
•             Arriving Firefighters discovered a single fuel pump and a single vehicle both heavily involved in fire.
•             Fire crews were able to quickly access the emergency fuel shut-off and deploy hose-lines to attack both fires.
•             Firefighters kept the vehicle fire from spreading to the building and brought both fires under control in just a few minutes.
•             The fires were caused by the vehicle backing into a fuel pump dispensing unit.
•             The driver moved his vehicle to a position adjacent to the gas station building then fled the scene.
•             The driver was later treated for minor injuries incurred at the scene and transported to a local hospital.
·                 SBPD is conducting further investigation of the incident.
