June 14, 2012 – As part of Bleve Entertainment’s “Help the Good Guys” program, Bleve CEO Mickey Milam presented a $2,000 check to the IAFF Charitable Foundation at the IAFF 14th District Caucus meeting in Memphis, Tennessee. The money is a portion of the proceeds from Bleve and E1 Entertainment recording star Bucky Covington’s new single: “I Wanna Be That Feeling.”

IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger, IAFF General Secretary-Treasurer Thomas Miller and IAFF 14th District Vice President Danny Todd were on hand to receive the check on behalf of the Foundation.

“We are so thankful for the generosity of Bleve Entertainment and Bucky Covington,” says General President Schaitberger. “This generous donation to the IAFF Charitable Foundation will provide much appreciated assistance to our members.”

Help the Good Guys works with recording artists to donate a portion of their recording sales to assist fire fighters and police officers who suffer from duty-related injuries or illness.

Bucky Covington, a former American Idol contestant, will be releasing a full album later this year. A portion of the proceeds from that will also go to the IAFF Charitable Foundation. Meanwhile, Covington plans to be at the IAFF 51st Convention as an invited guest.
