With the possibility of a City of Los Angeles examination for the position of Firefighter being held in the Fall of 2012, the Fire and Personnel Departments have jointly unveiled a revamped recruitment and job preparedness website at JoinLAFD.org , as well as a new Twitter account @JoinLAFD
