The deli section of La Canasta located at 13602 Ambaum Blvd, Burien 98166 was closed by a Public Health food inspector on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm due to the following food safety violations:

  • Potentially hazardous foods at unsafe temperatures
  • Improper cooling of potentially hazardous food
  • Inadequate facilities to control temperature of potentially hazardous food, hot holding
  • Poor personal hygiene – handwashing
  • Handwashing facilities not working
  • Operating without a valid permit

The establishment will reopened once the inspector confirms that all issues have been resolved.
