The Seventy Mile wildland fire is locate approximately eight [8] miles NW of Eagle, Alaska starting on Tribal land.
Fire fuel of timber is currrently creeping and smoldering with isolated torching.
Residences are currently threatened. We still looking for information on if evacuations are in force at this time.
The fire has consumed 2,800 acres and is at a 40% containment level.
There are 29 personnel on scene with the aid of one crew and two helicopters.
Cost-to-date is $778,000.00.
