Wildfire: Amigo Wash | AZ | Update 1

Near Arivaca, AZ | A wildfire reportedly broke out two miles NE of Arivaca on Monday, February 8th, just after 1300 hours.

Currently, there are 110 Firefighters assigned to the fire incident and at the last reporting on Tuesday, firefighters had gained a containment of 75% around 1,022 scorched acres.  Fire fuel consists of brush and grass.

Foward Progression has been stopped on February 8, 2016.  An estimated containment date is expected on Thursday, February 11, 2016.

Cause of the fire is currently unknown and is under investigation by the Arizona State Department of Forstry and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office.
