Incident Summary | A wildfire ignited overnight located on the Crooked River National Grassland on Saturday, July 9th listed at 150 acres with a visible column. It is located approximately 3/4 miles West from MP 14 on Hwy. 26 near Lone Pine Road and 10 miles North of Prineville, Oregon.  The fast-moving fire burned up to 1,000 acres within a 4-hour span, which was highly noted by wildfire watchers.

Command | Ochoco National Forest

Current Conditions | Active fire behavior with running, short-range spotting and isolated torching.  Structures are under current threat.  There is a 0% containment status.

Fire Fuels |  Medium logging slash, brush and tall grass.

Resources | There are 71 personnel broken down to 1 crew, 10 engines and 2 helicopters.

Cost-To-Date | Cost-to-date fire suppression and containment costs have reached $250,000.
