Incident Summary | A wildfire broke out on WA DNR lands and on private properties.
Fire crews were dispatched on Friday, July 7th @ 2250 hours PDT.
Cause | Unknown and under investigation.
Location | The fire is located off of Highway 141 and 5 miles North of Husum, Washington State.
Resources | 670 personnel; 27 crews, 26 engines, 2 dozers, 8 water tenders, 2 skidders and a Type 1 helicopter. IC: NW IMT Team 6.
Fire Fuels | Medium logging slash, brush and tall grass.
Current Conditions | Conditions drying out, increased temps, low RH levels. 337 acres. 50% containment. Crews in mop up operations.
Evacuation Alert! | Level evacuation orders for the Meyers Road and South of Pine Flat Road.
Traffic Alert! | Highway 141 near Dry Creek Fire in Klickitat County is now open to traffic led by a pilot car between Mile Marker 14 and Mile Marker 17.
Cost-To-Date | The total cost-to-date fire suppression and containment costs have reached $1.8 Million.
