Fire crews were dispatched @ 1430 hours PDT for a wildfire named the Toulou Fire located in the First Thought Mine area in Stevens County, Washington.
The fire is about 3 miles East of Orient (Ferry County), Washington State.
Resources HI 141 HI 40+Crew NC 322 NC 324 NC 326 NC 343 NC 61 NE 09 were on-scene around 1511 hours.
No word on the cause of this fire.

The mine is an inactive and abandoned mine that is in an area with complex volcanic features, was active in the 1900’s but was inactivated in 1952 for non-payment of fees. The mine about 3 miles East of Orient (unincorporated county with pop. of 113), Washington.
