OKANOGAN COUNTY, WASHINGTON
A wildfire is burning in Cox Meadow of the County prompting fire resources and assets to be deployed to the area via the WA DNR – NEC on July 8th at 1144 hours PT.
E691 and 692 were dispatched.
Fire resources descended on the location and quickly got a handline around the fire. They then are in the process of mopping up the fire and have reached an 80% containment status, while limiting the fire to be less than an acre at 0.1.
The fire was completely contained at 1750 hours PT.
Cause of the fire and any injuries were unknown at the time of this post.
