BOVARY, UKRAINE — The City of Tacoma firefighters did something heartwarming back in 2018 when a group traveled to Brovary, Ukraine to deliver an ambulance donated from the Fire Department to bring medical assistance to people without access to emergency services.

Today, in a video posted by the Tacoma Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 31, the ambulance is still in service though the country is under fire by Russia. Though there are a lot of questions that may arise from this post, the fact remains – emergency responders are still serving in more than dangerous conditions to save the lives of their own people.
