Incident Summary — A wildfire named the GULCH FIRE is burning near Dorris Brownell Road and East Butte Valley Road, southeast of Dorris (Siskiyou County), California which ignited from an unknown source on Saturday around 1246 hours PT.

Cause — The cause is unknown and Fire Officials are currently investigating.

Size Up — The fire has burned approximately 113 acres and crews have reached a 20% containment status. Snow fell over the fire line which helped with some containment, Fire Officials say.

Resources — Resources from State, Federal, and local (including the Keno Fire Department) are assigned and currently engaging on the fire line.
