VENTURA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
This evening, Firefighters with the Ventura County Fire Department and the Los Angeles City Fire Department were on the scene of a construction site where a man had fallen 25-feet down a hole in Bell Cyn. A rope rescue was established and firefighters immediately began the slow painstaking process of being lowered into the opening to rig up the man to safety.
The man was said to be extricated from the very deep hole and was being assessed by fire and EMS on his condition. He was transported to a nearby hospital. His current condition was unknown at the time of this post.
