There have been a number of wildfires sparked by many strikes of lightning which have occurred on the Cle Elum, Naches, Chelan, and Entiat and the Methow Valley Ranger Districts in Washington State.
These lightning strikes caused wildfires on August 11, 2022.
According to the USFS presser for today, there is smoke that was reported and seen by Hart’s Pass hikers.
This is in the Pasayten Wilderness in the Methow Valley Ranger District.
Rappelers are currently en route to the location.
