SANTA ANA (ORANGE COUNTY), CALIFORNIA — Firefighters were quick to egress on a residential structure which was reported at 2046 hours PT, Friday night on February 3, 2023.
The fire was confined to the garage only.
The fire incident was located in the 300 block of Laurel Street in Santa Ana, California.
Firefighters and fire personnel from the Orange County Fire Authority or known as OCFA were credited with saving several family members including five adults and two children along with their two dogs, a cat, and one turtle.
The Red Cross was called to assist with housing and support, along with any other needs the family may have.
The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.
